Poetry Reading @ British Council Tomorrow

Poets Jane Bhandari and Sudeep Sen will be reading from some of their work which features the monsoon as a recurring theme. Sohail Hashmi presents a range of Urdu and Hindi texts that examine life around the monsoon in North India.

British Council Auditorium
6:30p.m., 21st August 2007.

From an email by Peter Griffin: "Among the poets is a good friend, Jane Bhandari. Jane's on of those rare folk - she's active in Poetry Circle, PEN, Caferati, and runs Re-Loquations (formerly Loquations), and is regarded highly by all of them, both for her poetry and the unstinting generosity with critique and help."

Excellant blog.
In the storm of life we struggle through myriads of stimuli of
pressure,
stress, and muti-problems that seek for a solution and answer. We are
so
suppressed by the routine of this every life style that most of us seem

helpless. However, if we look closely to ancient techniques we shall
discover the magnificent way to understand and realize the ones around
us
and mostly ourselves. If only we could stop for a moment and allow this
to
